Managing Suicidal Risk in Clinical Practice

  • 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Workshop (8-hour continuing education certificate provided)
  • Lunch will be provided
What: This workshop walks participants through everything they need to know to effectively understand, engage, assess, treat, and manage suicidal risk in patients. The workshop is built on the presenter's 25 years of clinical and research experience and provides a sensible approach for understanding the "functional" utility of suicidal thoughts and behaviors among patients as a means for guiding successful care.
  • Learn about a sensible approach to differentially assessing suicidal states
  • Develop an evidence-based approach to clinically managing suicidal risk (“CAMS”)
  • Use effective risk management techniques that decrease liability and reduce the risk of malpractice
  • Develop confidence in your clinical ability to effectively work with a suicidal patient
How Much: $50 per person until August 26th. $75 after August 26th.
