Clint Malarchuk (retired NHL goalie for the Quebec Nordiques, the Washington Capitals, and the Buffalo Sabres). No job in the world of sports is as intimidating, exhilarating and as stress-ridden as that of a hockey goaltender. Now imagine doing that job while suffering high anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder and depression, and having your career nearly literally cut short when a skate sliced across your neck. The famed former NHL goaltender, shares his extraordinary and heart-wrenching life story—which includes his long battle with alcoholism and almost ending his life by a gunshot to the head—in his relentless effort to help end the stigma of mental illness and to help others who may suffer as well. He shares his lessons learned on his recovery journey joined by his wife Joanie.

Doug Gertner.jpgDoug Gertner, Doug Gertner Workplace Seminars and Solutions. To some, I am known as The Grateful Dad®. With my partner, Maggie Miller, I am the father of a teenage boy. I’m an educator, trainer, consultant, broadcaster, speaker, author, and activist. My goal is to bring a laid-back, rock-n-roll wisdom to every seminar topic with engaging stories, top tips, quick quips, skills, ideas, exercises, and activities to enhance adult learning in any situation.  We make our home in the heart of Denver, Colorado. I am a huge fan of live music, and I follow most Denver sports teams. Telemark skiing is my favorite snow sport, and in summers we like to travel and have been known to hop on mountain bikes and city cruisers. This ‘long, strange trip’ takes me far and wide teaching, training, and speaking about the things that matter most to me and my clients. @DougGertner

brett zachman.jpgBrett "Zach" Zachman, Founder, BeMen Foundation. BeMen is a “call to action,” an acronym “The Brotherhood of Extraordinary Men,” and a non-profit organization focused on male wellness. In 2003, I walked through the life experience of divorce and watched seven of my closest male friends do the same. Thus began a journey of self-discovery and personal development: 20 weeks with Dr. Bruce Fisher’s ReBuilding Seminars (as student and facilitator), personal and family counseling, relationship courses, meeting hundreds of divorcees, reading books and researching; I’ve chosen to turn my pain into my purpose. @BeMenBrothers

Lance Powers.jpgLance Powers is the Chief Chaotic Officer at Sigmend, a company reducing the human cost of mental health conditions by helping organizations bridge the gap from problem to treatment and create clear channels to help. Part of Lance’s passion for driving change and his unique insight into solving these challenges comes from his experience with a type 1 bipolar disorder. After two years of recovery following a suicide attempt in 2005, Lance's curiosity has largely led his career in small business and startups as founder and CEO of EESI Lighting, marketing director for hobbyDB, Galvanize student, Software Engineer at Orderly Health, and member of the 2016 Boulder Techstars accelerator program. Lance is a proud uncle, a photographer, a writer, a musician and a lover of post-it-notes, whiteboards and puggles named Boo. His work with mental health includes speaking for NAMI's In Our Own Voice, volunteering with Carson J Spencer Foundation's the FIRE Within, and partnering with Adam's Place Crazy to create outreach videos for teens. @theLPstory
