iCare Packages                                          Click here to purchase an iCare Package

When a family loses a loved one to suicide, they often feel alone in their grief as they try to make sense out of the unimaginable.  Many times the communities that care about them are at a loss of what to say or do, but know their friends need an embrace of care during this very challenging time.  The purpose of the iCare Packages is to let families know there is a community who supports them.

Our iCare Packages contain resources: books to assist the bereaved and lists of community support groups and other organizations that exist to help people through this very difficult crisis.
Generous authors and publishers have donated or significantly discounted their books to support this effort.  Because this project is in part dependent on these contributions, the contents of the packages may vary slightly.

In addition, the kind people who support the Carson J Spencer Foundation have donated these iCare Packages to families living in Colorado.  If you know of a Colorado family who has lost a loved one to suicide, complete the order form as indicated and your gift will be shipped within two weeks.  For those who would like to support families outside of Colorado, we ask for a small donation of $50.

How it works

  • You order an iCare package for the family in need.  Based on our current stock of books, we may be able to semi-customize the package to include resources for school-aged children, if appropriate.
  • You add a message of support if desired.
  • We send an iCare Package to the family in your name.
