Speakers include:

Beverly Cobain, cousin of Kurt Cobain (lead singer for the band Nivana), and author of "Dying to be Free"

and

Major General Mark Graham of the U.S. Army

who lost a son to suicide and is now championing suicide prevention for our veterans and active military.

	Men and Suicide Research Men of working age represent the greatest numbers of suicide completion, and yet very few resources are dedicated to this demographic. The Carson J Spencer Foundation received funding from Regis University to investigate the best way to reach men in distress to prevent suicide. Since last August we have been conducting focus groups and in-depth-interviews to help us better understand how to help men, and our findings will be used to develop a Colorado state-wide campaign in partnership with the Office of Suicide Prevention and Cactus Marketing Communications.
